Sonia Jetleey – Fashion Designer

Sonia Jetleey designs for the Modern Woman, who knows is ambitious driven, graceful and yet respects her roots. She is known to strike a balance of the international trends with the Indian Sensibilities. Each garment is self-narrative of the design process, right from the conceptualization stage to its execution. Since the inception of her studio, in Delhi’s prime location, Defence Colony, Sonia has dressed the most successful women in different walks of life, namely, Home-Makers, Pilots, Entrepreneurs, Fellow Designers, CA’s, Bureaucrats, et all. Sonia is a Registered Member of the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) and very religiously has been participating in the fashion weeks held by the fashion body. A Graduate in Business Administration, Sonia studied courses in fashion design from Sophia Polytechnic, Mumbai and NIFT, Delhi. She made her debut in 2003, via a fashion week organized by the FDCI.

Bhupendra Singh – Legal Advisor

Obtained Bachelor’s Degree from University of Delhi in 1991and bachelors of law and master of law in 1994 & 1997 respectively. Mr Bhupendra began his career in Delhi High Court in the year 1994 aenrolled on the rolls of Bar Council of Delhi. He is a Former Vice President, New Delhi Bar Association and Member of Delhi High Court Bar Association. He is established as a lawyer in Delhi NCR for last more than 27 years. Primarily practicing as a Litigation Lawyer handling cases involving Civil, Criminal & matrimonial Laws. His main focus has been on the criminal, civil, matrimonial & Commercial Laws, such as proceedings and prosecutions under Prevention of corruption Act, Indian penal law, matrimonial Act, etc.

Sapna Aggarwal – Interior Designer

Sapna Aggarwal, a young & dynamic entrepreneur, is the proud owner of the leading interior designing firm, Ansa Interiors. For fifteen years, she has boldly mixed eras and cultures from across the world with magnificent designs in enriching colors as a residential and commercial interior designer and consultant. She has designed countless homes and offices into personal, classy & chic spaces with the elegance in taste & innovation in designing. The interiors designed by her represent a unique panorama of elegance, style and conventional approach to match up to the needs of the interiors and choices of the clients. From space planning to decorating & designing, Ansa today offers everything, be it for residential or commercial space. Her innate creativity and passion for designing has carved a niche in the interior designing industry.

Sharad Mohindru – Architect

Sharad Mohindru is an Architect-Transport Planner with B.Arch from IP University Vastukala Academy, Delhi (2002) and Master’s in Transport Planning from School of Planning and Architecture Delhi (2005), has more than 12 years of professional experience in Transportation Planning and Architectural Planning. He has contributed and presented in National and International Transport journals and forums. Former PTV Certified Trainer (2013-2014) for the micro simulation tools – VISSIM (micro simulation), VISWALK (pedestrian simulation) and VISTRO (traffic impact assessment tool).He has also been a visiting faculty in various institutions, colleges and universities for years sharing his knowledge and experience with the students. Won First Prize in the category of ‘SMART SOLUTIONS FOR TRAFFIC PROBLEMS’, a competition organised by Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India, June, 2015. Received prize from Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji in the function held at PM residence on 01st July’2015. Sharad Mohindru working experience covers projects across India, Qatar, Abu Dhabi and Mauritius.

Anupama Datt – Fashion Designer

Anupama Datt, a veteran in the fields of fashion designing and entrepreneurship, comes packing with her insights from over 25 years in the industry, working with some of the leading fashion houses and fashion labels in India and abroad, both. Starting young as a self-taught designer, she was quickly appreciated for her skills and awarded with prestigious titles such as “Best Indian Outfit Designer” and “Most Practical & Wearable Designer” in the All India Fashion Designer Contests in the early 90s. Anupama isn’t just proficient in design, illustration, pattern-making, draping & construction in Indian formal wear, Saris, Salwar- Kameez, party wear, ethnic wear etc., but has also successfully dabbled in the creative fields of home furnishings & accessories, jewellery designing, and her passion from young ages – sketching & painting (with multiple private commissioned works on display with a varied roster of clients).

Mohit Sharma – Strategist

A post graduate from IIM Kolkata, Mohit is a SBU head and Sr VP Eveready Industries India Ltd. Earlier he has worked as Global Business Head- Jaquar lighting. He has been always attached with big names like Havells, Phillips etc. He is a motivational speaker, Indian Economy Analyst and a guest lecturer for IIM, SIBM, ISB and Amity etc.

Joy Mitra – Fashion Designer

Designer and Creative director Joy Mitra is a graduate from the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT, Kolkata) and trained in fine Arts from Kolkata. Joy Mitra design studio was born of the founder’s deep rooted passion for Indian art, history, geography, cinema, music and most of all Indian Textiles. All of this comes together and finds expression into timeless elegant garments. The signature earthy tones, fluid silhouettes which flatter all body types in a range of fabrics like silks, cottons, chanderis and chiffons. The brand is diligently working hand in hand with Indian artisans, weavers and printers to create some of the most exquisite and exclusive products. Brand Joy Mitra is dedicated and focussing more to revive Indian art, craft and textile. The brand Joy Mitra’s debut at India Fashion week was in 2008 and since then there has been no looking back. Regularly showcasing in various prestigious shows and events across the world including New York, Chicago, Dubai, Hongkong, Johannesburg, London, Los Angeles and many more. The brand is available in various fashion stores across the country and abroad. Going by the philosophy of freedom of thoughts and subsequently taking action that fuels creativity embedded in the formula of discovery and personal enrichment.

Rosy Ahluwalia – Fashion Designer

Rosy Ahluwalia is a distinguished fashion designer and TEDx speaker whose work has been featured on some of the world’s most prestigious platforms, including the Hollywood Tribute to the Oscars, the Cannes Fashion Show, and major fashion weeks in New York and Paris. She has appeared on MTV and collaborated with luxury automobile brands such as Skoda, BMW, Mercedes, and Range Rover, earning acclaim for her refined aesthetic and innovative design approach. She is also a celebrated celebrity designer known for styling numerous well-known personalities. Deeply committed to sustainable fashion, Rosy has been actively presenting Khadi on prominent national and international stages. She has showcased the fabric’s elegance and cultural depth at BRICS CCI, Bharat Tex, Pranaam Bharat Fest, the UP Khadi Board, IRCTC, the Embassy of Montenegro, and many more prestigious platforms, highlighting its versatility and timeless appeal. Rosy currently serves as the Co–Vice President of BRICS CCI (Textiles), where she continues to bring global attention to Indian craftsmanship and forward-thinking textile design.

Rajiv Pande – Industry Expert

Rajiv Pande is a consummate textile professional with MBA from IMS, Indore and having 37 years’ experience much of it in leadership positions like COO, VP and President with PNL responsibility. He is currently working as Business Head at Ginni Filaments Ltd. He has been consistently delivering revenue and profits under challenging environs. He has also ploughed back his knowledge into academics in order to raise the bar of the students entering the industry. Rajiv Pande was President of PERF (Brand of Rahman Group) and Paragon Apparels. He was also Vice-President of Maral Overseas Ltd., Shahi Exports Ltd. and TCNS Ltd. Rajiv Pande is B. Text in Textile Technology from TIT, Bhiwani, and the leading Textile Institute in the country and MBA in Marketing from IMS, Indore. Rajiv Pande has taught subjects like Business Strategy, Apparel Merchandising, Supply Chain Management and Retail Management at various institutes like NIFT, Delhi, Amity University, Noida, Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun, etc. He is Vice-Chairman of Textile Association of India (TAI).

Himadri Abrol – Fashion Designer

A Designer, Educationist and Entrepreneur, Himadri Abrol exuberates dynamism through her eclectic approach towards fashion. Graduated from NIFT Chennai, she began her career through various export houses working closely with multiple International Brands like Debenhams, Next, Zara, Mint Velvet, Leon and Harper among others. With over 12 years of Industry experience, Himadri eventually ventured into the field of education with the aim to shape up the lives and nurture the careers of the upcoming design generation. Her zeal to create something new every waking hour evolved her to launch her own label, exhibiting her design sensibilities with an accuracy to details through a new age approach to manufacture conscious fashion.

Shivani Sood – Interior Designer

Educationist, Designer and a freelancer, Shivani is an enthusiast and a true mentor for students. She has done BSc. and MSc. in Interior Design. She has a field experience of more than 6 years and has actively working in the education field from past 12 years. She has started her teaching career with university and is currently heading the interior department at IADA. She has been associated with brands like Livspace, ATS, Supertech etc amongst others.

Payal – Fashion Designer

A NIFT , Hyderabad alumnus, Ms. Payal , HOD Fashion Design , is a distinguished academic and fashion industry expert with profound understanding of the fashion realm.With 9 years of experience,Payal transitioned her focus to academia where She actively engages in subjects related to fashion technical and innovative creative industry oriented practices.As an educator, she has transitioned from imparting knowledge on how things are to actively engaging with learners to question how things could be. This mindset has been instrumental in shaping her mentorship approach, wherein she encourages experiential learning methodologies, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical industry applications.

Reeta Ghosh – Fashion Designer

An Educator with more than 2 decades of experience in academic & administration, holding dual Masters degree & pursuing a vision of helping students who look forward to achieve their goals in design career. She expertise in Pattern making, Garment construction, Fashion illustration inclusive of forte in digital illustration & pattern making with Clo3d, Adobe softwares & Coreldraw all in advanced level.

Sakshi Agarwal – Interior Designer

An experienced Interior Designer and Educator with a Post- Graduation degree in Interior Design and 20+ years of expertise in delivering turnkey residential and commercial projects, complemented by over 17 years of teaching experience. Proven track record of creating stunning, functional spaces and inspiring students. Skilled in managing projects and academic programs, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovative design and knowledge sharing.

Course Registration

Students can register for IADA programs through the online application form or by visiting the campus for assistance. The admission team guides applicants with eligibility, course selection, and required documents. After submitting the form, the team connects for counseling or portfolio review if needed. Seats are limited, so early registration is recommended for securing admission.
